During my stay at this hotel, I was impressed with the great service provided by the staff. They were friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The hotel's location was perfect, with plenty of dining options nearby and easy access to all the attractions of the historic area. The room I stayed in was comfortable and spacious, with modern amenities like a flat-screen TV and a beautiful balcony. I loved the European feel of the place and enjoyed relaxing on the balcony, taking in the views. The breakfast offered was simple but tasty, with fresh pastries and delicious coffee. this hotel provided a luxurious experience of enhanced comfort and quality services.
I highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

I liked the staff and how nice the rooms looked. I thought the price was reasonable for he location and I like that there was a security guard posted at the door all night.
The continental breakfest was poor and the hotel seemed a bit empty.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The hotel's decor was modern and chic, creating a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere. The showers were fantastic and the beds were super comfy. The location was perfect for sightseeing and accessing the cruise ship terminal. We were also delighted to find that there were many restaurants and shops in close proximity to the hotel, making it convenient for us to explore and find dining options.
It was all superb.

The location was ideal for us and the decor was special and unique.
Noise in the alley at night while we slept was irritating.

I liked the staff, hotel, bar & restaurant, they went out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Very Quant.
Very loud. Early in the morning trash trucks (reg trash, then glass trk) after you would get to sleep the street cleaners. This would start about 4 or 5 am every morning. The people getting out of the bars were loud but nothing compared to the trucks.

The hotel's location was excellent, as it was conveniently close to all the sights in Old San Juan. it was very close to everything in the Old San Juan area, making it easy to explore the charming streets and shops. the staff provided attentive service and the rooms were clean and modern, with comfortable beds.
Some guests mentioned that the noise from outside, such as the early morning garbage truck pickups, could be disruptive to sleep.

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay at Chateau Cervantes. The room was very large, comfortable, and luxurious. It was our honeymoon and we had spent a week in Antigua and wanted to spend a day in San Juan on our way back home and found the hotel to be quite lovely and elegant. The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning was great, and the room itself was very pretty. The staff let us check in early and was very friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend the hotel for anyone who wanted to look around old San Juan. There are several excellent restaurants next door and one in the hotel itself.

The service was very good. Michelle was VERY personable, friendly, and helpful.
The hot water in the shower was temperamental at best. The housekeeping was not diligent in knocking before entering, although I recognize we should have made better use of the "privacy please" door hanging.

Wanted to stay in Old Town San Juan close to the beach and the cruise terminal. Excellent choice, with old world charm. The staff is amazing and went over and above our expectations! The city is alive at night and local places to eat and enjoy the multi-cultures of Puerto Rico. Convenient walking distance to all of Old San Juan, safe area, convenient trolley stop...amazing place to stay! If you want a standard hotel without the hustle and bustle or quaintness of the "old world" of San Juan then pick a standard hotel chain ...(boring)! Or stay home.

During my Christmas stay, I really liked the convenient location of the hotel. It was close to the cruise terminal, making it easy for us to explore the city before our cruise. the hotel was situated near the city trolleys, which allowed us to easily access different parts of the city. Another advantage was the reliable wifi, both in the lobby and in our room. This made it convenient for us to stay connected and plan our activities.
There were a few drawbacks to our stay. the lack of a phone in the room was inconvenient as we had to go down to the lobby to communicate with the staff.

My wife and I and our physician daughter found the personnel very friendly and helpful in all situations, particularly in explaining directions to many locations. The ambience was felt to be well reflective of old Spanish influence of San Juan. The nearness to so many famous sites within walking distance was a real plus.
Street noise was at times loud( Xmas celebrations and religious stuff) but this did not bother us.
